In our lab, we try to understand the series of biological events in the cells at the molecular level by explaining the basis of interaction between biological molecules (ex, protein:protein, protein:substrates, protein:DNA) using biochemical and structural study. Based on this information, we will try to explain the abnormal or missing interactions which often happens in various diseases and find a way to control them. the main focus in the lab are 1) the activation mechanism of DNA recombination and repair proteins. 2) the interaction between immune receptors and effectors in plants. 3) the activation mechanism of immune response proteins in the cells.
