Our lab focuses on investigating the neural mechanism of drug addiction, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the neural circuitry for fear memory in the amygdala. Using various Cre-expressing mouse lines, we perform animal behavioral experiments, and electrophysiologial and optogenetic studies to understand synaptic plasticity underlying psychiatric disorders in molecular, cellular, and systemic levels.
