Our lab members are working on three major groups. Understanding the mechanism of translation initiation, HCV based molecular mechanisms and drug discovery, and development diagnosis kit for influenza virus by Aptamer technology. Especially, we suggested novel \'RNA looping\' model in translation initiation step, and found novel anti-HCV NS5A inhibitors overcoming resistance mutants.
